A Home on Mercer Island, Jessica Nelson Design
In this house located on Mercer Island, the wooden slats extending from floor to ceiling immediately catch the eye. The semi-permeable wooden wall created here, along with the complementing wooden bench, seamlessly integrates with a mid-century modern round table. The designer combines the wood material used in the dining room with different colors and materials, creating a natural and modern landscape.

Carroll Gardens House, Starling Architecture and Emily Lindberg Design
It is known that Starling Architecture and Emily Lindberg Design combined two units in a townhouse in Brooklyn to create this family home. White Belgian oak used in the townhouse's floors, hallway, staircase, entry hall, kitchen, and dining area creates a neutral tone, nurturing the tranquility of the house. The wooden cabinets and decorative grillwork in the dining room achieve a natural harmony with the floor and ceiling.

Dragon Flat, Tsurata Architecture
Artificial intelligence was utilized to design the carved patterns on plywood panels adorning the dining room of this apartment located in the Notting Hill area of London. Tsuruta Architects applied a pattern of the Thames River to the wall using a computer-controlled cutting machine (CNC). In this unique design example where contemporary technological capabilities meet wood, the architectural firm also revised the two-story apartment by incorporating a built-in wardrobe with carved designs on its paneled walls.

Filomena, Arthur's
If you have a high-ceilinged home, it's possible to see the significant impact of using wood on the ceiling, especially in dining rooms, through this splendid example. Filomena is an old rectory located at the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains in Western Massachusetts. The designer undertaking the renovation project mentions that, drawing inspiration from Italian architecture, the historical structure incorporates colors and details inspired by the mid-20th-century modernist approach. The dialogue between the dark-colored walls and wood, along with the complementary effect of the selected accessories, is notably successful. The role of wood in this environment still proudly takes the spotlight.

A House in El Peuma, Christian Izquierdo Lehmann
This house bearing the signature of Cristian Izquierdo Lehmann is designed as an open-plan space with a domed ceiling used for kitchen, dining, and socializing purposes. The layout centralizes the kitchen and dining area.
